PM places wreath at Bangabandhu’s portrait

Staff Correspondent: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina placed floral wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi in city on the occasion of 47th Victory Day.

The premier placed the wreath on Saturday morning. Later, she again placed another wreath along with the top leaders of the party as its president.

Afterward, the premise was opened for all including party leaders, activists and general people to pay tribute to father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.



Forty-six years back on December 16 in 1971, Bangladesh was born as an independent country under the leadership of the Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and for the supreme sacrifice of three million people and the honour of nearly half a million women.
