Petition filled seeking Minni’s bail cancelled

The state has filed a petition seeking cancelation of Minni’s bail in the sensational Rifat Sharif murder case.

Judge Hafizur Rahman of Barguna District and Sessions Judge Court accepted the petition and fixed Thursday (January 9) to deliver its verdict.

Meanwhile, the trial in the case started through deposition of plaintiff Dulal Sharif, slain Rifat Sharif’s father, on Wednesday noon.

Earlier on January 1, the court framed charges against 10 adult accused in the case.

Alongside, 14 juvenile accused were indicted in the case on January 8. Minni is no. 7 among 24 accused in the accused.
