Pintu`s 3rd namaz-e-janaza held

Staff Correspondent: The third namaz-e-janaza of late BNP leader Nasir Uddin Ahmed Pintu was held at Hajaribagh area`s Leather Technology college field in the capital on Monday.

Earlier, this noon, the second namaz-e-janaza Pintu was held in front of the party`s Nayapaltan headquarters in the city.

The 2nd janaza of the ex-lawmaker and Assistant Organizing Secretary of BNP, who died on Sunday noon, was held at around 11.55am.
 
Around 11:00am, the body of the BNP leader reached the Nayapaltan office where the party men and his well wishers paid tributes to him.

Hundreds of thousands of leaders and activists of the party attended in the namaz-e-janaza.

The BNP leader`s dead body will be buried beside the cemetery of his father at Azimpur graveyard in the capital, family sources said.

On Sunday afternoon, after he suffered a cardiac arrest at Rajshahi Jail around 12.12pm, and he was immediately taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital but the duty doctors declared him dead.
