Police start investigation over AG's death threat

Staff Correspondent: Police have started investigation over the death threat issued to the Attorney General (AG) Mahbubey Alam through a postal mail.
Technological supports are being taken to identify people who sent the letter.
Abul Hassan, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Shahbag Police Station, told risingbd that a postal letter of death threat was served to the Attorney General around 4:30pm on Thursday.
Just after the moment of receiving the letter, his private secretary Kabir Ahmed filed a general diary (GD) in this regard, he added.
Along with the police, detectives are also working into the matter, the OC said.
The letter of threat read, "Your time has come closer. Be ready. Now take preparation to go to hell."
