Principal recruitment of Viqarunnisa suspended

Staff Correspondent: The process of principal recruitment for Viqarunnisa Noon School and College has been suspended due to controversy.

The Education Ministry has imposed a life-time ban on Prof Shahedul Khabir and principal among five in any recruitment.

Alongside, the ministry came with an instruction to the incumbent committee of the institution to begin a controversy-free principal recruitment process.

A circular in this regard was issued by the ministry on Thursday. Dhaka Education Board Chairman was asked to implement the instructions.

Earlier on April 29, the Education Ministry postponed the recruitment process due to graft allegations.
