Returning offices ready to announce poll result

Staff Correspondent: The returning officers are ready to announce the result of three city corporation elections.

The results of Dhaka South City Corporation will be announced from Mohanagar Nattaya Mancha in the city, Dhaka North City Corporation results from Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) while the Chittagong City Corporation results from retuning office of M A Aziz stadium complex and gymnasium.

All the preparations have been taken to announce unofficial the voting result. Following the matter, media personalities, election officers and law enforcers took position in the offices of retuning officers.
 
Earlier, the voting was started at 8:00am and ended at 4:00pm on Tuesday.

Dhaka South`s Returning Officer Mihir Sarwar Morshed said that after all formalities the result will come here and then the result will be announced.

The result announcing may be started around 7:00pm, he added.
