`Road incidents to be controlled strictly`

Staff Correspondent: Urging the government to minimize road incidents, country`s civil society members said, "Impose the existing related laws to prevent road incidents in a strict manner soon."

The civil society members made the call while addressing at a round table discussion programme at Paltan area in the capital on Tuesday.

"Keep the transportation sectors out of political influence," the speakers in the progamme also urged the authorities concerned.

President of Commuters` Rights Parishad, Tushar Rehman, presided over the discussion programme.

High officials of government parts, separate political party leaders, teachers of separate universities and some other civil society members were also present, among others, at that time.
