Rooms of BCL's Buet unit president, GS sealed off

The authorities of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology sealed off rooms of BCL's BUET president Jami-us-Sani and General Secretary Mehedi Hasan Rasel.

The decision was taken after the student protest following the murder of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) student Abrar Fahad.

Prof Dr Md Mizanur Rahman sealed off the room of Jami-us-Sani- room no. 321 of Ahsan-Ullah Hall on Saturday.

Besides, the room number 3012 was sealed off as BCL's BUET unit general secretary Mehedi Hasan Rasel lived there. He was arrested in the murder case.

Earlier, the authorities issued a notice signed by Acting Registrar Dr Md Saidur Rahman. The notice said that the Directorate of Students’ Welfare of BUET will take measures to vacate illegally occupied seats and seal off the offices of student organisations.
