SC order to submit Quashem`s appeal plea summary

Staff Correspondent: The Supreme Court (SC) has directed to submit the summary of appeal petition filed by death penalty convict Mir Quashem Ali, Jamaat executive committee member and chairman of Diganta Media Corporation within four weeks.

A four-member bench led by Chief Justice SK Sinha passed the order on Thursday morning after hearing on a time petition.

Other members of the bench are Justice Nazmun Ara Sultana, Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain and Justice Hasan Faez Siddique.
