SSC examinee among 2 killed in road crash

Two persons including an SSC examinee were killed in road crash in Sunamganj on Sunday.

The incident took place on Sunamganj-Doarabazar road at Brahmangaon under Sadar upazila around 6:30pm.

According to locals, four people were heading to Doarabazar on a motorbike. The motorcycle hit a pole of electricity after its driver lost control, leaving two dead on the spot.

The deceased were known as Sohag Mia, 17, son of Nasir Uddin of Maizbari of sadar upazila, and Pavel Ahmed, 15, son of Shamsunnur of the same village.

Sunamganj Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sahidur Rahman confirmed the news.

The bodies of the deceased were kept in Sunamganj Sadar Hospital for autopsy, he added.
