SSC examinee beaten to death in Barisal

Staff Correspondent, Barisal: A SSC examinee named Abu Saleh has been beaten to death.

The incident took place on Sunday night in front of Jahitunnesa Mohila Madrasa at Sher-e-Bangla road of Rupatali in the city.

Police handed over the body to the family after autopsy around 11.00am on Monday.

The deceased Abu Saleh was the son of Liton Mridha of the locality and SSC examinee of Science Department of Nuria Secondary School.

According to sources, Ridoy Rahman, a college student and son of Ataur Rahman, attacked Abu Saleh on Sunday night over a previous enmity.

He was immediately taken to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where the duty doctors declared him dead.
