Sporadic firing, explosion continue around Atia Mahal

Staff Correspondent, Sylhet: Sporadic firing and explosion were heard on Monday morning as Sylhet’s Atia Mahal raid entered into day four.

Sporadic gunshots were heard since this morning around Atia Mahal, where joint forces are trying to flush out militants for four days, sources said.

Yesterday, Bangladesh Army said they successfully neutralised at least two militants inside the house and that there were possibility of “one or more remaining inside”.
