Staff Correspondent: Swechhasebak Dal leader general secretary Abdul Kader Bhuiyan Jewel and eight others put on one-day remand each in a case filed over subversive activities.
Judge Ahsan Habib of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court passed the order on Saturday.
Earlier, Investigation Officer (IO) Sohrab Al Hossain of Sher-e-Bangla Nagar police station produced them before the court seeking seven days remand.
On Friday night, police arrested them from a residence in capital's Razabazar.
