Theft at Nayan Bond’s Barguna residence

Barguna Correspondent: Burglars have reportedly looted gold ornaments and Tk 50,000 in cash from the residence of Nayan Bond, the prime accused in much-talked Rifat murder case in Barguna.  

Sahida Begum, mother of Nayan Bond said, she went to visit a relative's house. Later, neighbours phoned her noticing the broken door lock. The thieves broke into the house and looted the valuables any time on Thursday night.

The thieves took away gold ornaments weighing 10 bhori, Tk 50,000 in cash and important papers.

Barguna Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Abir Hossain Mahmud said, police will take action after checking the complaints.
