Three die drinking excessive liquor in Barishal

Three people have died after taking excessive liquor in Barishal.

The deceased were identified as – Siddhratha Roy Mithun, 26, Bikash Karmakar, 30 and Ratan Chandra Das, 27.

Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital sources said, Ratan was admitted to the hospital at 6:20pm on Wednesday. He died at 7:50pm. Later, the youth was cremated.

Besides, Bikash was admitted to hospital around 11:00pm on Wednesday and he died at 12:00pm on Thursday. On the other hand, Siddhratha was taken to hospital on Thursday morning and he died at 01:05pm.

Katwali model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Nurul Islam said, the three youths were friends. They had drank alcoholic drinks during Puja celebration.
