Train kills man in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: An unidentified man was killed when he was hit by a speeding train at Dheerasram rail crossing area in the city on Sunday.

Arab Ali, sub-inspector of Tongi railway police camp, said the incident took place around 8:00pm when a speedy train hit the man aged about 45 while crossing the rail tracks, leaving him dead on the spot.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
