Trawler capsize: More 3 bodies recovered

Bangladesh Coast Guard has recovered bodies of three more Rohingyas who went missing after a trawler en-route to Malaysia capsized near Saint Martin's Island on February 11.

The death toll now stands at 21.

The bodies were found floating on a beach of Pashcim Para area in Saint Martin's Island around 9.30am on Monday.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Earlier, members of Bangladesh Coast Guard recovered 18 bodies and recued 72 Rohingya people alive.

On February 11, a trawler, presumed to be carrying 138 people, sailed for Malaysia and sank near Saint Martin's Island of the Bay of Bengal.
