Two Kuwaitis sent to jail in connection with MP Papul scam

The Public Prosecution of Kuwait has sent two Kuwaitis to jail in connection with scandal of Bangladesh MP Kazi Shaid Islam Papul.

The prosecution on Friday sent them to jail for 21 days in the case related to Laxmipur-2 constituency MP Papul for human trafficking by selling visas, money laundering and bribery, reports Arab Times.

Of the two Kuwaitis, one is an official from Manpower Authority and a former candidate the National Assembly.

Earlier, the Prosecution passed an order to extend custody of Bangladeshi MP Papul for additional 21 days to by referring him to the central prison.
