Two of people at Coronavirus risk identified at border

Two out of 565 passport holding passengers who came to the country from India in last five days have been identified as risky in the primary tests of ‘Coronavirus’ at Bhomra land port in Satkhira district.

It is learnt that the test activities of Coronavirus are going on in slow pace.

Those identified as vulnerable to Coronavirus are the residents of Paikgachha upazila of Khulna and Satkhira Sadar.

Authorities concerned advised the duo to receive treatment from health centres nearby as they had high temperature in their bodies.

Deputy assistant community medical officer Dr Swpna Rani Mondol said, “Body’s temperature is being measured with the help of non-contact thermometer primarily here in the land port area. People having a temperature of 38 degrees centigrade are at risk of the new virus. Two people having this temperature have been identified.”
