Walton launches pen drives

Augustin Sujon: Local manufacturer Walton has introduced its new product, a range of 16GB and 32GB pen drives, on tech market. The USB 2.0 and 3.0 compatible Walton pen drives support Windows, MAC and Linux operating systems.

Engineers at Walton Computer Sourcing Department said, the metal body Walton pen drives have higher data transfer rate. This accessories also have more data stability.

Md. Liakat Ali, In-Charge of Walton Computer Project, said: Walton initially launched 10 models of pen drives. The attractively designed pen drives will heighten the user experience in storing or transferring various data, songs, photos, videos or important files.



He said the USB 2.0 compatible 16GB Walton pen drives are priced at 650 BDT while USB 3.0 compatible portable storages will cost 850 to 1,000 BDT.

Meanwhile, USB 2.0 compatible pen drives with 32GB capacity have a price tag between 1,000 to 1,050 BDT while the same capacity USB 3.0 compatible accessories will cost 1,450 to 1,500 BDT.



Besides, Walton has released another 16GB pen drive which has dual connectors of USB 2.0 and Micro USB. This pen drive, priced at 800 BDT only, is useable on laptop computers and other devices which has OTG supports.

Consumers will enjoy one year warranty on all models of Walton pen drives.
