The eye-catching comfortable police control room, made by Walton, at Chandra in Gazipur
Staff correspondent: Walton, the country’s leading electrical, electronics, automobile and home appliances products manufacturer company, has set up a police control room at the Chandra trivium in Gazipur on the Dhaka-Tangail highway in a bid to prevent road accidents.
The move came as the continuous process of various social activities done by the company.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Hasan Mahmud Khandaker inaugurated the newly built control room equipped with IP cameras on Wednesday last.
The eye-catching comfortable control room will enable the law enforcers to keep guard on the traffic of the road in that area.
Md. Yousuf Ali, Senior Deputy Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industies, Md. Shahazada Selim, Deputy Director and Department Chief of Static Ad and Beautification, Mohasin Mollah, Deputy Director, HRM, PR and Admin, were among other prominent guests present on the occasion.
Asaduzzaman Miah, DIG of Bangladesh Highway Police, Mahfuzul Haque Nuruzzaman, DIG of Dhaka Range Police, Harun-Ur-Rashid, Police Super, Gazipur, were among other top officials present there.
