Youth’s slit-throat body found in Gazipur

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: Police recovered slit-throat body of an unidentified youth from Nilerpara area of the city corporation in Gazipur on Sunday night.

Joydebpur Police Station's Sub-Inspector (SI) Enayet Hossain confirmed this to risingbd.

Locals found the youth lying dead in the Nilerpara area near Joydebpur-Pubail road around 9:00pm and informed Joydebpur Police Station. On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, the SI said.

Later, the body was sent to Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital for autopsy, he added.

The police official said there was injury mark on different parts of the body.

It is suspected that miscreants might have dumped the body here after murdering the youth in another place, he said.
