‘Rohingyas have right to return to their country’

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: US Ambassador in Bangladesh Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat said Rohingya people are interested to return to their country and they have that right. Only Myanmar government can resolve the Rohingya problem.

The US ambassador came up with the opinion while talking to newsmen after attending a function “National Youth Assembly-2017” organised by JAAGO Foundation in Cox's Bazar on Thursday afternoon.

Bernicat said, “Myanmar government can solve the Rohingya problem. We want the Rohingya people lead a safe life, get humanitarian help and education facilities. We all expect that refugee Rohingya people return to their home country safely.”

US Ambassador in Bangladesh Marcia Stephens Bloom Bernicat and State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Polok were present as the guests in the second day of the function.
