10 Lakh Indian Rupees seized in Jessore

Staff Correspondent, Jessore: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized 10 lakh Indian Rupees from Putkhali Charer math area near Putkhali border in Jessore around 11:00am on Saturday.

Hori Krishna Roy, subedar of Putkhali BGB camp, confirmed the news.

He said BGB members noticed two youths at Putkhali Charer Math area. The youths fled leaving a bag as law enforcers asked them to stop there. Later, BGB members found 10 lakh Indian Rupees in the bag. The Rupees were submitted to Benaport Port Police Station.
