Banking hours reset for Ramadan

Economic Correspondent: The central bank has reset office hours for all banks from 9:30am to 4pm for the holy month of Ramadan.

Banking transactions will continue from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm but banks will remain open till 4pm.

Bangladesh Bank issued a circular in this regard on Wednesday.

Earlier, the government set office hours for all its offices from 9am to 3:30pm with the same break for prayers.
