Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have sent another 133 Rohingya people back to Myanmar from Ukhia of Cox’s Bazar and Naikhanchhari in Bandarban border points on Thursday.
Lt Col Imran Ullah Sarkar, Commanding Officer of BGB Battalion-34 in Cox’s Bazar said that the BGB personnel have detained the Rohingyas in several drives this morning when they tried to cross border in Balukhali, Anjumanpara, Ghundhum points.
Later, BGB sent back the 21 were male, 44 women and 68 Rohingya children, he added.
A total of 340 Rohingyas have been turned back since December 1.
