Bogra Correspondent: Mawlana Shahinur Hossain, Imam of Bogra Shia Mosque, who sustained bullet injuries during the attack in the mosque, has been referred to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) for better treatment.
Dr. Rezaul Alam Juwel, Vice-principal of Bogra Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital confirmed this on Tuesday.
He said Shahinur was admitted to the hospital with bullet injury in his backbone. Doctors with their all efforts could not be able to remove the bullet from his body. So, he was referred to DMCH on Tuesday.
Miscreants carried out shootings in Haripur Shia Mosque in Bogra on November 26, leaving one dead and three others critically injured.
Law enforcers held six people in this connection. Of them, three were placed on remand.
