Business Fest at DIU

Risingbd Desk: “Business Fest@UC-2016” began on May 28, 2016 at DIU Auditorium, UC organized by Young Women Entrepreneurs Forum (YWEF) and Uttara Campus. Mr. Alauddin A. Majid, Chairman of BASIC Bank Limited, inaugurated the ceremony as the chief guest. Mr. Ali Ahmed, CEO, (BFTI), was as the special guest and Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University, presided over the ceremony. Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business & Economics, Mr. Masum Iqbal, Head of Dept. of Business Administration, Ms. Tanzina Hossain, Assistant Professor & Director Academic (In-charge), UC, Mr. Anil Chandra Paul, Director Admin, UC, Mr. Md. Harun-Or-Rashid, Deputy Director, UC and faculties of different departments were also present in the ceremony.

To make business students to be more practical with lectures, examples and exercises to provide skills, encourage participation and exchange information, Business Fest@UC-2016 has provided an opportunity to the students of business to participate in different events such as Business Case Competition, Start up market, Venue organizing competition, Business quiz competition, poster presentation competition, Business Idea Development competition, career counseling, interview and CV writing, Industrial tour, Presentation skill development, etc. The fest will be for 5 days (May 28-01 June, 2016).
