City roads full of ditches

Muhammad Naeemuddin: The roads of Dhaka city now become a source of pain due to ditches everywhere. The city dwellers are facing serious troubles during travelling in these city streets.

The roads of Shantinagar, Malibagh Rail Gate, Chowdhury Para, Malibagh intersection, Rajarbagh are always remain packed with muddy and sloppy by rainwater. The pot-hole roads in these area made death traps for city sloppy.

Besides, nonstop rain has created a horrific situation in the areas. As a result, accidents become a regular matter.

People are travelling either by rickshaw or three-wheelers on these roads are lucky to escape spinal cord injury because of the constant jerking while on the seat.

The roads of Malibagh, Moghbazar, Rampura areas became almost useless.Taking life risks, the passenger buses, rickshaws, motorbikes are seen running in these areas.

On the other hand, traffic jam in the areas created unbearable situation. A drive from the eight kilometer roads in the areas is a painful experience for the city dwellers.

Same situations were also seen at Wari, Khilgaon,Mugda, Basabo, Kamalapur, Sayedabad, Jatrabari, Dholpur, Matuail, Shampur areas in the capital.
