`Country goes through extreme jeopardy`

Staff Correspondent, Sylhet: Terming again the incumbent government as illegal, BNP Acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said the country is passing through a great crisis as democracy was sent to exile through January 5 election.

He said the country is witnessing murder, disappearances and abductions frequently as the Awami League government is stuck in power through muscle powers.

The BNP stalwart said while addressing Sylhet Metropolitan and district BNP Conference at Shahid Suleman Hall of the Central Muslim Literary Sangsad of the city on Sunday.
