Staff Correspondent: The Supreme Court has ordered to end the hearing on the appeal petition of death penalty convict and BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury tomorrow (Tuesday).
A four-member bench headed by SK Sinha passed the order on Monday. Other members of the bench are Justice Nazmun Ara Sultana, Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain and Justice Hasan Faez Siddiqui.
On October 1, 2013, The International Crimes Tribunal-1 awarded death penalty to Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury for his crimes in 1971.
On October 29 of the same year, he filed an appeal petition with the Supreme Court against his death penalty.
