Decision to cut transport fare Monday

Staff Correspondent, Gazipur: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that decision would be taken to reduce public transport fare on Monday as the price of all kinds of fuel was decreased.

He said, "The price of fuel has been decreased. Public transport fare will also be reduced. The decision will be taken in a meeting to be held at Bangladesh Road Transport Authority with transport leaders on Monday."

The Minister came up with the disclosure while visiting under construction works in front of Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Memorial KPG Specialised Hospital at the district`s Tetuibari on Dhaka-Tangail Highway on Friday.

Quader said the murders were carried out recently across the country were organised target killing. The government is very much strict in this regard.
