Dhaka-Parbatipur special train service launched

DINAJPUR, Aug 6: Bangladesh Railway (BR) on Tuesday launched a pair of special intercity train service on Parbatipur-Dhaka-Parbatipur route to reduce sufferings of the home bound passengers during holy Eid-ul-Fitr vacation.

The ‘Eid Special-1 and 2 train service were launched this morning and will be operated till August 15, railway sources said.

Parbatipur Station Master Abdul Jabbar said the Eid special train-2 had started its journey from Parbatipur station at 6.45am and likely to reach Dhaka around 3.40pm.

He also informed that the Eid special-1 train would start from Dhaka at 5.20pm and likely to reach Parbatipur at 3.00am.
