Dhaka-Ctg-Sylhet rail links resume

Brahmanbaria Correspondent: Train communication of Chittagong with Dhaka and Sylhet has been resumed.

The rail links resumed after one hour and 45 minutes of suspension due to the derailment of three bogies of a container train in Akhaura upazila in the district.

Akhaura Railway Police Station OC Abdus Sattar said train service resumed on the routes around 12:30pm on Thursday.

The bogies of a Dhaka-bound train veered off the tracks around 10:45am today.

Later, a relief train reached the spot and cleared the line.
