Separate road crashes kill 9

Desk Report: At least nine people were killed and 10 others were injured in separate road accident across the country on Saturday.

Natore: Two people were killed and others were injured as mini truck hit a standing truck at Airmari area of the district's Shreerampur on Saturday morning.

The deceased were identified as Fulchand, 35, and Shahid, 38. The injured could not be known immediately.

Magura: Two women were killed and eight others were injured as a microbus skided off road and fell into a roadside ditch after a truck hit it from behind at the district's Sheikhparha area in the morning.

The victims were going to Benapole in Jessore to cross broder for visiting Azmir Sharif in India.

Rajshahi: A power official named Abdur Razzak, 59, was killed as truck hit him at the district's Puthia in the morning.

Laxmipur: A pedestrian was killed as a bus hit him in Laxmipur. The deceased was known as Md Liton, 40.

Besides, an unknown youth was crushed under train at Bagarparha under Kalingaj upazila and two people were killed in separate road mishaps in Jessore in the morning.
