Private car snatched after hacking driver

Staff Correspondent: Miscreants have snatched a private car after hacking its driver in the capital.

The incident happened in front of Laz Pharma at Kalabagan area around 4:30am on Thursday.

The victim driver was identified as KM Rana, 32.

He is now undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

K M Rana said he was taking tea in front of Laz Pharma when some six to seven miscreants asked him to hand over the key of his private car. As he refused to give it, they attacked on him with sharp weapons and run away with the car (Dhaka Metro-LA-25-8275), leaving him injured.
