Ershad places 5 proposals over EC reformation

Senior Reporter: Jatiya Party (JP) has placed five proposals to President Abdul Hamid over reformation of the Election Commission (EC).

The party placed the proposals during talks with President Abdul Hamid over reformation of the Election Commission on Tuesday afternoon.

The talks were held between 3.15pm to 4.30pm at Bangabhaban in the capital.

An 18-member delegation led by its President Hussein Muhammad Ershad participated in talks.

The team includes Opposition Leader and party Senior Co-Chairman Roushan Ershad, Co-Chairman GM Quader, Secretary General Ruhul Amin Hawlader, Presidium Members Anisul Islam Mahmud, MA Sattar, Mujibul Hoque Chunnu, Salma Islam, Delowar Hossain, SM Faysal Chisty, Taj Rahman, Mashiur Rahman Ranga, Khaleda Aktera and Tajul Islam.
