Miscreants loot TK5 lakh shooting 3 in Savar

Staff Correspondent: Miscreants looted Tk five lakh from a bus passenger shooting three people on Dhaka-Aricha highway in front of Dairy Farm Gate in Savar on Monday.

The incident took place around 11:00am.

Sources said riding on three motorbikes miscreants stopped a Savar-bound bus and opened fire to create panic among the bus passengers. At one stage, they snatched a bag containing Tk 5 lakh from a passenger of the bus and fled the scene.

The injured were identified as Sarwar Hossain 45, Abul Hossain and Tutul.

Confirming the matter, Ashulia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohsin Kadir said critically injured Sarwar and Abul Hossain were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
