Jessore municipality mayor Maruful Islam
Jessore Correspondent: Local government ministry has suspended Jessore municipality mayor Maruful Islam.
The mayor received the order of suspension on Sunday afternoon.
Sources said that Maruful was suspended on the charges of corruption, tax evasion, illegal recruitment, failure in paying electricity bill.
Maruful was also Jessore city unit BNP president.
