Jhalokati ex-UP chairman slaughtered

Jhalokati Correspondent: Police recovered the slaughtered body of a former chairman of district`s Shuktagar Union Parishad from a paddy field in district`s Rajapur upazila on Saturday morning.

Deceased was identified as Shah Alam Khan alias Takar Alam, 50, was an accused of several cases, including of murder.

Sheikh Munir-Ul-Gias, Officer-in-Charge of Rajapur Police Station, said the locals found Shah Alam`s body around 11:00am and informed the police.

Later, the police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
