Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has rejected a bail petition of Bengali-language daily Amar Desh`s acting Editor Mahmudur Rahman in vehicle torching and vandalism case.
Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge`s Court passed the order after Mahmudur Rahman`s lawyer Joynul Abedin Mejbah submitted the bail petitions on Wednesday.
Police filed the cases against him with Shahbagh and Tejgaon police station on charge of vehicle torching, setting fire and vandalizing in 2013.
