Minister for exporting manpower commercially

Secretariat Correspondent: Expatriates` Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSc on Wednesday said, "In a bid to prohibit the human trafficking in the country, necessary initiatives will be taken to export manpower commercially soon."

The Minister made the comment while addressing at the second day of the three-day District Commissioners` conference in the capital on the day.

While addressing in the conference, Nurul Islam BSc also directed the DCs with some other issues in connection with his ministry.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Home Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal also directed the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to maintain law and order situation across the country by any means.

"Do your duties in a proper manner to inhibit terrorism, distortion, militancy, drug peddling and human trafficking incidents across the country," the Minister also directed the DCs on the day.

Yesterday, the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has also directed the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) to ensure housing for countrymen.

The DCs conference is arranged every year so that government policymakers can directly exchange views with the highest district-level administrative officials over various important issues and can give them necessary directions to serve people in a batter way.
