Entertainment Desk: Jannatul Ferdous Mou. She became popular as ‘Ganer Pakhi’ when she was is in class four. From her childhood, she used to love singing. A big chunk of her life was out of music world. But she did not stop continuing her music practice. Her melodious tone has reached many countries like Europe, America etc crossing the boundary of her home country Bangladesh. She is representing the culture of Bangladesh with her singing tone. Now she is living at Florida of United States.


M. Square has recently released her solo music album titled ‘Ami amoni’. It is her first solo album which contains nine songs. Songs of world poet Rabindranath Tagore, rebel poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, Radha Romon Dutta and rural poet Jasimuddin have been included in the album.


Family sources said the album has been released in many countries including Bangladesh, America, Austria and Spain simultaneously.


Asked about her feeling for the album, Mou said, “I could not make my album with plenty preparation as it is my first album. There are many faults in it. I hope the listeners will accept my album positively. I feel great for the release of my album.


She remembers the contribution of her parents and teachers to her life. She also recollects the people she meets for helping her reach this stage.


Her growing up is in Dhaka although she is born in Tangail. Her father Abdur Rashid is an insurance officer and mother Hasne Ara Rashid is a housewife.
