`Mystery behind double murder to be uncovered soon`

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal hopes to debunk the mystery behind the double at the capital`s Kalabagan.

The Minister said, "Three suspects were detected over the murder while the processing is going on to identify others. The investigation is going on the right track and we hope the mystery behind the murder will be opened within a few days."

The Minister came up with the statement while talking to reporters at his own residence at the capital`s Dhanmondi on Friday.

The Home Boss said, "A quarter is carrying out the killings in planned ways to put the government in danger and to establish followers of Islamic State (IS) in the country. But I firmly declare that there is no existence of IS in the domain of Bangladesh. Those are committing murders are created here. Government has control over them. They must be arrested and brought to justice."

Suspected Islamist militants, on Monday, hacked to death USAID official and gay-rights activist Xulhaz Mannan and his theatre activist friend Mahbub Rabbi Tonoy in a flat at the capital`s Kalabagan.
