No organizational existence of IS in Bangladesh: IGP

Staff Correspondent: Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Hoque said that there is no organizational existence of IS in Bangladesh.
The top official of police department made the assertion while addressing the quarterly crime conference (July-September 2014) meeting of police held at police headquarter in the city on Tuesday.
Shahidul Hoque said that anyone might be attracted with ideology of Islamic State (IS) personally but no one will be allowed to make the country militant state.
All types of conspiracy with our country will be prevented, IGP said.
He also said that the Bangladesh police have shown outstanding performance in controlling militancy, violence and crimes.
Meanwhile, he directed concerned police officers to remain alert to prevent crimes.
All police commissioners, Range DIG, other high officials of police attended in the meeting.
