Women’s team goes to Singapore Wednesday

Sports Correspondent: The Bangladesh women's football team will play a three-nation tournament in Singapore from February 16 to 18 as part of the under-16 team's preparation for September's AFC U-16 Women's Championship.

The other teams in the tournament are Malaysia and Singapore. The Bangladesh team will leave Dhaka on Wednesday.

The Bangladesh team, which features only four senior players apart from players of the under-16 team, recently played seven matches against Japanese academies as well as the under-16 Thailand team during the J-Green Sakai Lady's football festival in Japan.
