Psychologists to be recruited in edu institutes

Staff Correspondent: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said that the government is planning to recruit psychologists in educational institutions for teenagers.

The Minister made the discloser while addressing an inaugural ceremony at International Mother Language Institute auditorium in capital`s Segunbagicha on Sunday.

He said that a teacher will be assigned as psychologist, providing training in the concerned subject until the government finds enough professional psychologists.

The minister expressed hope that `Generation Breakthrough` project under Primary and Mass Education decorate will play an important role to train up teachers.

These teachers will provide necessary advice teenage students during their adolescent period.

Meanwhile, the minister urged guardians and teachers to pay attention to their students for the sake of proper mental development.
