risingbd steps into sixth year

Desk Report: risingbd.com, one of the country’s leading online news portals, has stepped into sixth year today (Wednesday).

risingbd.com started its journey on April 26 in 2013 with the slogan ‘News at every moment’. Uday Hakim was the first editor of the news portal, which got huge popularity within a few days of its operations.

SM Zahid Hasan is the publisher of the news portal, and at present Mohammad Nowsher Ali is working as editor.

The number of Facebook Likes reached 17,69,327 in the morning of Thursday, the sixth anniversary of the news portal.

risingbd's Facebook Likes were 15,84,578 on the fifth anniversary of the last year.
