risingbd’s Facebook Likes cross 6 lakh mark

Staff Correspondent: The number of Facebook Likes of risingbd.com, the country’s leading online news portal, has crossed the six lakh mark.

The number of Facebook Likes reached 6,01,500 at 12.00pm on Sunday (April 26), the third founding anniversary of the news portal.

risingbd.com started its journey in April 26 in 2013 with the slogan ‘See, Read and Write’. Uday Hakim was the first editor of the news portal, and at present Sontosh Mondol is working as the executive editor.

From the beginning, it is committed to providing neutral and objective news.

The news portal has many departments-agriculture, banking, corporate corner, country,    economy, editorial, education, entertainment, environment, health, international, interview and opinion, lifestyle, literature, national, politics, risingbd special, science, sports, stock market    travel, woman and children, etc. It is also going to open three new departments soon.

After crossing four lakh mark, risingbd staff are being more encouraged due to huge enthusiasm of its readers, writers and well-wishers.
