Sramik Dal gets permission to hold May Day rally

Staff Correspondent:  Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has given permission to Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal to hold a rally in the city’s historic Suhrawardy Udyan on May 1, marking the May Day.

Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said this at a press conference at the party’s Nayapaltan office on Friday noon.

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia will address the rally as the chief guest, Rizvi said.

BNP Vice Chairman Abdullah Al Noman, Joint Secretary General Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal, Khairul Kabir Khokon, Abdus Salam, Masud Ahmed Talukdar, Abdus Salam Azad and Mahbubul Haq Nannu were also present.
